Recent Acquisitions: VA/MD/DC V.10

Picked up two new Vintage sets from north Glen Burnie Targets using 1172 DPCI#(even though receipt says 0302)...didn't get them for under $5 each like many I've read about, but they did ring up for 14.99@.

North Glen Burnie Target had both Vintage 3-packs(Gonk droid & Snaggie ones) out on shelf this am in SW section...they are now ringing up at 24.99@.

Still nothing. Can I even still consider myself a collector, when there has been so little to purchase in the past year?

Good Lord I'm with ya man. I never really got into all the Clone Wars toys (although I enjoy the show). TVC is the only thing that keeps me on the hunt. Unfortunately due to those prices per fig it really limits me to what I buy now. It is a friggin wasteland down here. All the stores seems to have TPM wave sitting there forever taking up space!

Yeah, I was lucky to somehow avoid the TVC temptation. I really feel for you guys. At least with TCW stuff usually appears with only a few misses. But around here, the TVC stuff has been pegwarming since January (or earlier). Its still nearly all TPM wav stuff.

North Glen Burnie Target had Bespin Duel & Duel On Naboo BP's; north Glen Burnie WalMart had TDKR Movie Masters series 2 with Alfred, Officer Blake & Catwoman. Just F.Y.I.

went to Gburg Toys R us and they had the same stuff from last winter. Gburg target has a bunch of phantom menace stuff.. on the look out for the yavin battle pack thats appearing at TRU on the westcoast

I spotted one of those "Light Up Light Saber" MH Darth Vader figures at Target (Rio) last night. I was half tempted to buy it, but I think that once its batteries are dead, its all over. So I passed.

I also bought a 2nd scuba clone since its paint looked very clean. I took it home and compared it to my unopened one from months ago. I couldn't tell the difference between the two. I guess the paint app wasn't as bad as some of the others that I had seen. I returned it to Kentlands K-Mart. Now they have two there. Oh, they also had a pair of B-Wings on clearance. But at $29 I passed.
