I just recently found yardsellr. It is overpriced, for the most part. But, on the bright side I had some friends join and give me gifts. So far, I got a modern figure that can't be found at retail for 4.00, and just recently got a sealed Vader Mimobot for 65 cents.
Dan,
I too have noticed over on esty people seem to be straight up BatS**T CRAZY! I have no idea what these people are thinking. Where do they come up with their prices?

Yeah, the best deals on Yardsellr seem to be the small inexpensive ones, because you get the biggest percentage of the value off the small transactions with the Photon$ promotion.
I bought a few small tidbits there- lots of spare parts and weapons mostly for cheap, and a couple of Ewoks coins. There is a guy there now with some really nice POTF85 stuff, too bad I don't really need those pieces though. A lot of it is modern, and that stuff is nice but also high priced or at least retail mostly. But you are right, every once in a while you get a deal there.
As for me, my spare pinback badges have been selling like hotcakes there! I'm almost sold out, so I'm happy
I have a theory- a lot of the best and rarest vintage pieces that show up there are priced super high on purpose. I don't think they are intended sell. It's more show-off and promotion for the owners/dealers, to draw traffic into their virtual yardsale for other small-fry items with normal prices, or because it's a social selling platform just to be the big man around campus with the best stuff.
Like anything else, take it with a grain...
Saw this one today:
Star Wars Episode 1 Naboo Royal Starship
Someone has delusions of grandeur
But "it will only go up in value"
bwhahahahahaha
That reminds me, I check out thrift stores on occassion for vintage figures. Some times have luck, not often.
Yesterday I saw two incomplete ROTS Jedi Starfighters for $5 each, if the part could be missing, it was.
