I know we've all said it, but TRU is evil!!
TRU is indeed evil. My local TRU isn't quite as evil as they are only selling the Geonosis set at $49.99. A 25% markup isn't quite as bad as the reported 38% markup MaxWedge reported. I'm just not willing to pay the markup.

Boooo, I like to see how long we can get a thread past 500 posts before GNT closes it down.

That said, I was going to snag a Duplo horse stable for my daughter who is turning 3 next month but I waited too long because I was gambling on lower clearance prices. One of these days I'll learn to just grab a set when it gets within the acceptable price range.

My local Walmart has polybags of mini X-wings and mini TIE fighters in the easter section. Several boxes of them. $3.97 each. I got a couple of each.

Also had some Atlantis and City sets mixed in with them. The Atlantis is that mini-sub thing and the City is a police officer in a little car.

As much as I dislike the pricing at TRU... they had a good deal this weekend. I nabbed Slave I for 30% off and for spending more than $50 got a free $15 basic Lego set.

First Lego item I've bought at TRU b/c the Target and WM's across the street are always noticeably cheaper or I buy them online.

Me too, but about the only thing around here is some idiot who buys the sets on sale, then lists them for full price.
