The Sith control everything! You just don't realize it.
Just found out Tom Kane is going to be at Denver Comic Con in June. I'm going to have him autograph the cover of my Clone Wars Season 2 Blu Ray set.
Yep, that Engehast.
season 4 with every episode just geting better. like it
The only one I really don't think I can stomach to watch again is that first C3PO and R2 episode with the frog princess. The first part with the clones helping the natives was okay but once the droids went down the rabbit hole that one went completely off the rails. I really disliked that one.
Yep, that Engehast.
Has the ratings of TCW really dropped off a lot? This was in JTA's interview with Hasbro at TF 2012:
Hasbro confirmed with us that the television show has been hit by a reduction in ratings the last few years, and yes, it does effect how much time and tooling ultimately gets allotted forThe Clone Warstoy line.
Is this just them justifying their decision to abandon the CW toy line or is the CW series in a downward trend toward cancellation? There seems to be many seasons of stories left to tell so I hope it's more of the former than the latter.
They've dropped, sure, but 'a lot' would need to be defined in context with other shows. Ratings are such a haphazard affair nowadays anyhow, when so many download their shows or DVR them.
I think Lucas will produce the series as long as he wants to. He started production of the show before they even had a channel that had committed to show it. So even if CN gives up on it (Which is unlikely), they would probably continue production and find another method/channel to distribute the episodes.
We don't know that the drop in ratings is going to make or break the show's future, only that it's signaling a lack of interest at this time (And sadly, after the first half of this season especially, I can guess why). The Clone Wars was a merchandise epic at one point, but at this point there's just not as much money in that part of it. I'm hoping for a grand comeback in the fifth season - especially for the sake of the toy line.
