This excitement is great! It's almost like the old days!!!

Yeah! It's been so long since someone delivered a big lightsaber box to my door! I can't wait to hold this beauty with my own hands..Originally Posted by SirTristram

I was thinking the same thing....I can't even remember the last time I received a lightsaber in the mail. (I didn't buy the Ahsoka...)

Looks like this must have sold pretty well if they are down to 10 or less.
Just seen the deleted scene for the first time and it would be great if it was added back in for the blu-ray releases - think this saber will become more sought after once the blu-rays come out. Cannot believe I sat on the fence for so long.
Also as its got blinking lights and the glowing crystal - I take it that the battery is in there somewhere and hopefully easy to change if needed?
That's the reason I'm buying mine. Ahsoka was my first saber and I really like it!Originally Posted by SirTristram

And not to open up the Elstree / MoM debate again but as this a "licensed" collectible does that not imply that Lucasfilm has endorsed this version of the prop?
it sure does.. and this replica looks brilliant in terms of detail and everything..
There is one thing that used to annoy me more than anything.. and that was the placement of that stupid green crystal on the MR Luke Elite. it did not make ANY sense at all.. finally this version has the crystal in its right place
There you have a gigantic clue as to why at least one of the elstree props was an actual lucas film prop.....Lucas film would not allow something they did not own the rights or "prior art" of to be Officially Licensed.....yet many still believe the world is flat.

Actually, it was not an actual LFL prop.
If you want the real facts about it you can check here:

Elstree is well known among real prop collectors for selling fakes.
It's a very cool prop, but it was not used in filming that scene.
