Trying to put my foil sets of G6 together. Missing these:
Bronze: Need 3(Maul) and 8(Leia)
Gold: Need 1(Luke), 7(Lando), and 10(Vader)
And I actually have doubles of Bronze 1(luke), 2(Ewan Obi Wan), 4(greedo), 5(Hoth Han), and 6(Jango).
I know I'm getting more this week so we'll see what I get. I def want to finish each set.

Got my Kit Fisto Hodges sketch I won from ebay in the mail today! Nice!!
The Hot Pack thing is kind of sketchy at best (pun intended) but let me at least screw over the jackwagon selling the method for 20 bucks. On the retail packs if you look closely at the packs you'll see a trackmark from the packaging machine running the length of the front of the pack. Look for differences in this track, in the majority of the packs they will all bethe same, any packs missing the track entirely, track position in a different place or an extra thick or wavy track means chase card. Sketch odds are still kind of long though as each drop only contains 36 packs and the sketch odds are 1:48 packs.Originally Posted by stewbacca
This has still been a question on most card boards.. Some people actually get high level digital scales and weigh packs. Some use expensive digital calipers and measure the width of the packs. Some actually buy all the packs from target and then put a small slit or hole in the top and fan it till they see a sketch card edge (which is why you should always examine the cards you buy at Target- especially if the "new box" is one pack short -) and then return the rest.. Its also assumed this person is probably even a distributor as well (or someone who buys multiple cases and hopes the "hot packs" sell for more than the box..
Others - if you buy enough cases- you may open 23 packs and not get a sketch-- so by default the last pack should have a card..
Another theory is that the sellers work at the places that topps sends their cards at to be sealed- so they just pluck a few off the line-- ..
Of course some guy was selling his secret on ebay of how he does it for 19.99 a pop as well..
WHoever they are -- they as seen as the scum part of the card collecting community- as they are probably some of the same guys that go to the bookstores and slit open all the polybagged NSU magazines and steal all the promo cards out of them.
And in the old days of Inkworks- the one per box card was in the same exact spot in every single box.. Of course this is Topps but there were a couple of times where the sketch card was in the same space in multiple boxes for me (but I still think that is to random to be viable..)
Similar method on Hobby packs but it also ties into pack position in the box. Better odds on sketches with some boxes yeilding 3 sketches but the idjits doing this are for the most part losing money now as sealed boxes are fetching 130-150 and will likely hit 200 a box before long. No way are they making that kind guaranteed return off opening boxes. I'm sure more than a few of them are kicking themselves for cracking boxes and selling hot packs now! Very few could be skimming packs at stores because retailers have been wise to this stuff for ages and just don't sell single packs.
This is pretty much the visual equivalent of being sodomized by a rainbow while a pony stomps cupcakes into your mouth.

Cool! How much were they selling retail cases? Where in the store do they have them?
Well it wasn't a case, it was one of those gravity feed things they have, I just grabbed like 20 someodd packs and went to town. got a full set of silver foils, 2 gold, 3 bronze, and several animation cels.
Figured I'd get a box worth the hard way, since I was broke and jobless during the preorders. haven't collated the cards but I'm pretty certain I have the 120 card set too.
Very pleased with most of the images too!
