Except the part where Skyrim is on a completely new and separate engine from the last Elder Scrolls and undeniably contains new features not present in the previous installment but it is a good game.

Patch 1.4 is up. Gonna download it later tonight. From what I've read so far, it seems to have really helped.

Woot! They fixed the problem I was having finding Meridia's Beacon. I finally got the platinum and I didn't have to redo all of the Daedric missions to get it.

Thrilled to say the lag is gone but I'm still having some bad glitches, and a couple things that were supposed to be fixed aren't. But I'm glad to be able to play for more than an hour again, and to freely roam without constant slowdown.

Still having frame-rate issues. It's just sad, three months after the game came out and I still can't just play without issues. I've really defended Bethesda, but they took five years to make this game and it's still not 100%. Despite really liking The Elder Scrolls series, I'll be hestitant to buy another Bethesda game.

where when you're just strolling through the Forest when you suddenly burst into flames freak out and proceeds to see what the frik it was when you look and a giant Dragon is about to land on top of you and you're like "WTF!?!?!?"
got back into it and heading going to learn from the greybeards. Damn those greybeards and their damn ridiculously huge mountain, and damn those ice trolls and snow bears too

There's been a few times where dragon's have surprised me, due to the sound glitching. But not as bad as cave bears. I've lost count how many times those have scared the hell outta me.
Patch has been hit or miss for me. The frame rate has been fixed for the most part but I still have quest breaking glitches (like Boethiah's Calling) This is my first Elder Scrolls game and my first Bethesda game, but as much as I love it I'll be very hesitant to buy another game from them after this mess.
