They did say in that QA that they were aware that not enough made it to stores, and that some kind of decision-making error issue was involved (my recollection there, not their exact words). Even so, yeah..the realistic version is to be the replacement. Still totally baffled by this choice.
Well, in the hope of remaining positive, maybe Scuba Ahsoka's head will fit on the realistic body...assuming the realistic body doesn't make her look like a female Wrestler next to the CW Anakin and Obi-wan, lol.

My read on this is that Hasbro goofed and this wave undershipped, but also that even if they had plans to reship her, now is hardly the time when they'd confirm them to us. They have a different version of the same figure just unveiled and coming later this year so they want us to buy that one. They are hardly going to say, "there's one coming this year but you should ignore it and wait because we'll rerelease the one you really want in early 2013." Of course they aren't going to show their hands, even if a rerelease is potentially something they'd do, because it's not in their interests to do so. They want us to buy the one they've just invested in. I don't think we should read more into their answer than that, personally.

On a tangent, I have been amazed in the past when fans asked Hasbro for repacks of figures that were currently shipping in other sets (eg: asking for a single carded Bossk right after he was announced as coming in the Slave 1 set) and were then surprised when Hasbro said these weren't coming. Of course not - not while there's already one to buy and it's a purchase they want us to make. I don't think there's any point in asking for those sorts of things until after they've come and gone.

Given the fact that Hasbro just confirmed that we are only going to get about 20 figures a year as long as LFL keeps putting out these 3D movies, I would say that this Ahsoka will most likely show up in a Battle Pack. Just a guess.

They saw fit to getting around to reshipping Aayla and Hondo after all, so yeah, I think and hope so too, though it might be 2013 before it happens. I got mine for my daughter and she's awesome. You all need to own this one.

I completely agree with this! Just remember how many times, and how long u saw Asoka with Rotta warming the pegs! As well as Commander Cody and Rex. Their originals have been coming back for what's seems like ages now. Count Dooku has been making a big comeback as well. I just can't see this Asoka not making a comeback. Unless their planning another costume change! Chicks like outfits! lol!

I prefer the animated version - I have a feeling this type of thing is going to happen more often. Characters being made in realistic style and little or no chance of the animated version being repacked or even made - total shame.

I completely agree! I absolutely love and prefer the animated style over the realistic style any day of the week! I really enjoyed the original Clone Wars figures from back in the early 2000's and still have them in my collection! I really hope that Hasbro sticks with these and if not completely at least in some form or another. Maybe like what they do with the vintage line or something. Please keep the the Clone Wars animated figures coming! Thanks much! Later
