Yeah, as for the little dimples here and there, I'm OK with it. The visor not coming all the way down is a minor nitpick...it's literally a 1 or 2 millimeter gap. Short of taking the helmet apart and redrilling the visor's holes I don't think there's anything that could be done. But no biggie.
On the decal, do you mean make just one cut from margin to center or do you actually cut out a thin piece (2 cuts that come together, like cutting a pie)?
Just one cut on the decal, with a cutter, not like a pie. And it works perfectly. Not even the new eFX X-Wing helmet has perfect fit on visor the and it is idealized a lot. I like my helmets with all these "errors". No Stormtrooper helmet I have im my collection is 100% like the next, and the Sandtrooper helmet for example is way better then the eFX PCR version being painted by the professional that is Madrid Boba.

So in the end we have to admit that if we want Legend helmets, we also need to understand what these small "errors" are. There are people out there who won't understand this, and might not even like the Legend helmets exactly because they are hopefully rough, asymmetrical and flimsy, as seen in movies and not idealized like the regular MR/eFX fiberglass lids.

I also like the SDS helmet stands, especially the pyramid ones, they are unusual and cool. They are quite versatile too, if you know how to make them so. You can use a bit of black tape and they will be great. For example for my Royal Guard helmet the only stand I could use, and I have many types around was the SDS round one. And it is holding it the best compared to all others.

Crap...wish I had known before putting it on. I guess I could get more cog stickers from ebay and try again?

I don't want to sound weird, but it's good to know I'm not the only guy that takes pics shirtless or in my PJ's. :witless:

What I don't like is the helmet stand (and have plans to get one that looks like MR). The bottom of it looks like one of those hats Devo wore in the "Whip It" video...

Hey, just look at it this way, you got two prop replicas for the price of one!

All kinding aside, great addition to an already great collection. Congrats!

I never really liked the black brick that came with the GG Biker Scout dio so was very happy to see Beek selling the custom Endor themed base. The paint job and details are excellent and I'm very happy with the purchase. Thanks Beek!

Glad the base went to a good home. It looks great in your collection!

    Thanks Alex.

Just picked up my first custom clone helmet, Neyo. I'm really happy with it...the weathering is outstanding and it has a nice solid feel.

    Happy New Year, Scummers!

Wow, you've been busy adding to you collection. Lots of nice pick ups. I guess I waited to long deciding if I should get the scout trooper from Beek. I don't feel so bad since you got it...it fits your theme nicely.

Congrats! So what do you think of your first custom helmet? Is it made of ABS or fiberglass? Will you be getting other unlicensed lids?
