I gotta be honest, but I think what you see is what you'll get - shoulders and all.
If this were a painted hard copy, I would have no doubts that the shoulders would be inset more. However, this looks to be a final stage, injection molded PVC figure.

Galactichunter has shadowy pics of Hoth Luke, the Blu-Ray deleted scene figs & the Movie Heroes light-up Qui-Gon & Obi figs.
I know Hoth Luke is supposed to be issued on a Vintage card, but if there are any more delays the line look may change before we see it! :dejection:

Shoulders do look funny. The scarf is a little much, but I think Hasbro might actually give us an alternate head maybe. Anyways, I am not going to make judgement after only seeing one pic. I am happy we are at least getting a fully articulated Hoth Luke...even those awkward shoulders are better than the stiff and wooden looking Saga Hoth Luke we have had for almost 8 years now.
So far, overall, I am liking this figure.

Yep. Shoulders look terrible, but the rest of him looks just fine. I'm hoping that the shoulders aren't a huge issue and maybe it's just this model. I certainly hope we aren't getting that lame Episode II saber hilt to go with him. That kind of inaccurate garbage kills me.
My other issue is I hope the goggles are separate from the scarf/hat setup because as of now they have a huge gap between them allowing the eyes to look through the crack, just doesn't look good at all. If his eyes are gonna look through something, it needs to be goggles, so I'm hoping much like the Hoth Han that the goggles can be taken on or off by simply pressing them in.
Either way as of now the figure stands as a 8 out of 10 for me.

While it's Awesome to finally see this figure in the plastic flesh, it suffers from poorly executed removable cap/scarf.
This is one case where I feel they should have sculpted the hat and scarf, then had a extra head sculpt w/o the gear.
If this ends up being the final figure I'm going to have to mod something with an older version.
