    Celebration 5 - Any Regrets?

So I am kicking myself in the head for not getting an autograph of Jon Berg. I can't believe I missed that. A bit of background - I am an AT-AT maniac. My screen name on most other boards outside of this one is AT-AT Luvah.

To be at C5 and not get Berg on that pic of him with the AT-AT in front of him is insane. The only prop replica I own is the Master Replicas AT-AT v1.0 - it's the crown jewel of my collection.

I also regret not getting one of the McQuarrie metallix prints, but not as much as I regret missing out on Berg. I hope he does a show in the future. I was just so punch-drunk on Hamill hysteria, that I completely missed that signing.

How about you? Anybody you regret missing? Anybody you regret getting? Regret spending too much? Too little?

I regret not getting more Burg's, Burtt's and at least one Fisher, just so I could have met her. I regret not getting to go to some of the panels and not planning my other convention 'wants' other than 'graphs. And again...with everybody there loving the SAME entity, I wish I just had more play money to spend on really everything I wanted.

I miss getting some of the freebies, pictures, and the cereal boxes. Also there were probably some good deals and such with some of the vintage toys.

There were some other things going on and my mind was in a completely different place, so my friends and alot of you guys/gals made everything else FANTASTIC..couldn't have asked for a better experience. The only sad thing is that it's over.

I regret nothing, I spent a great amount of time with my friends, met new ones, and by far my most positive, fun and exciting "Star Wars Fanboy" experience ever. Oh, and I met George . The only regret is that it ended, I miss you guys

I feel you on the Berg regret! I was only able to go one day (Saturday), and I got an incredible amount accomplished, really (all my stuff plus an ESB poster I started for a friend). But it was getting late in the day, probably around 5 o clock, and Im standing in line for Jon Berg. Probably about 25-30 people in front of me but the line is not moving. So slow. I have 3 Fisher coupons burning a hole in my pocket that I had to use, so I got out of Berg's line to go get my Fisher autos. I still regret not getting Berg on my Hildebrandt ANH poster.

Also, I got a pretty sweet 11x14 Fett started that day (signed by Harris, Beer, and Morton), but Bulloch's line started to get big and I waited too long-by the time I got out of Fisher's line, he was gone for the day.

I had a great time my one day at C5, and I got a lot of nice stuff done and goals accomplished, but these two regrets still gnaw at me.

THe only thing I regret is not making an effort to get a glimpse of Lucas anywhere when I could have.

I wish I had gotten to RMQ exhibit, and had more time.

    Totally ready for C6.

I regret that the whole thing was over too soon and that I didn't get to hang with you guys as much as I wanted. But the thing is that we all had things we needed to do, and lines take time. You really can't accomplish everything at these shows.

I still haven't seen One Man Star Wars Trilogy (4th time in a row!), missed a lot of the cereal box panels, missed a lot of the stalls, forgot to buy stuff that I had seen, but still, after all of that I still had a blast and made a lot of new friends, and met a few that I had only had conversations with right here on these boards.

At the end of CIV I said I was done with Celebrations and didn't want to do another. Now I can't wait for CVI - bring it on! (and bring it back to Orlando!)

    Seconded.

I wish i could have seen the McQuarrie exhibit and the helmets -- and maybe even bid on one.

I also regret not getting more autographs...
