Well then, I think we really need to have as many people as possible call the 800 number above and remind them that it needs to be taken care of!

I understand that we are not allowed to contact Hasbro regarding questions we have that would belong in the Hasbro Q&A sessions, but this type of thing is something that needs to be voiced ASAP and definitely should not wait or be wasted on those Q&A sessions.

It was.....back in 2009 when photos and figures were sent to Hasbro's Q&A team about the yellowing of the white plastic. All was denied and they have continued to play politics on this topic every since

Regarding the yellowing/greening, if more sites would post this issue on their front page, I think it would help. We've done it at Yak and I think JTA has done it... but I agree it needs to be hammered a lot more.

It also sucks that the clone itself is just a bad figure, even if the yellowing wasn't happening. I still would have passed on the figure because the sculpt is terrible and the helmet is sloppy and fat looking.

I talked to her for a good 10 to 15 minutes to make sure she understood very clearly what the problem was. I told her that not only is nobody buying any of them because they are considered "defective," but that since no one is buying them they are clogging up the pegs and preventing stores from getting new stock in.

Anyway, just a heads up to everyone.

When I called her, she asked me for my zip code and the item number. ROTS Clone (20833/97568), Utapau Clone (30018/97568).

I have a feeling if more people call and report the same problem from different areas (zip codes), we can get Hasbro to recall these items and get them out of the stores so that new stock can be ordered and available.

Let's work together and get this problem taken care of!
Or point Hasbro to these forums so they can read for themselves. But I understand what you mean. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

edit: I just read further down to see you already mentioned the squeaky wheel. Great minds...or demented ones..
From the ____ list to the hit list. What a difference an "s" makes.

For some reason the words "mountain" and "molehill" keep popping into my head as I read this and the distribution thread.

    Has anyone else called yet?

    Hasbro Customer Service (800) 255-5516
    ROTS Clone (20833/97568)
    Utapau Clone (30018/97568)

Maybe the moderators could set up a thread specifically for this cause and people could "sign" it when they have called so that we can keep track of how many of us have expressed our disappointment directly to Hasbro???

I personally would like to know how many of us are actually calling them to try and help the cause.

What say you '78? Curto? GNT? darth sidious? (I know there's a couple more too.)

Yes they have. I can assure you Hasbro are very much aware of the situation.

I would imagine if someone else called the following day, they'd be told the same thing. But they've known about it for quite a while

Hasbro knows about every issue before we even bring it to them, they probably have someone on this very forum reading what we are typing at this moment.

    ^This.

But if calling customer support makes you feel productive... have at it.
