Vintage Collection Pegwarmers?

I have been wondering if MH will continue next year.

I think Hasbro will keep some kind of MH/Legends line over the next few years. They might give it a different name, but something like that will stick around. I've heard that these have been selling like hotcakes in Germany, so if that's any indication of the rest of the world, then why would they stop? The thing with the red BDs is kind of funny because 16 BDs means 16 cases of MH and the other figures sold through, so selling about 92% of the figures in those cases over a short time period is probably seen as a success.

Went to Shopko yesterday and they're still pegwarming with Dengar, 4LOM, Bespin Cloud Car pilot figures, 2-3 AT-AT Commander imperial officer figures and one Revenge of the Sith Vintage style Anakin Skywalker figure from last year.

Woolworth Germany has received a massive shipment of asian (possibly Japanese) TVC figures plus a few older ones (someone was able to buy EP-I - TC-14 3 times).
I suspect that these were pegwarmers elsewhere (perhaps in Japan, then).

This shipment includes hordes of TVC Sandtroopers, hordes of TVC ROTS clones (a lot of them with their helmets becoming yellow-ish), a lot of Bobas, Vaders, ROTS Anakin Skywalker, ROTS General Grievous, and a few amount of others (like Luke Bespin). I think this must be the first TVC waves.

Prices are not reduced, though. Instead, they were even put a bit higher from 9,94 € to 10.

Sounds like my local target - well, dengar at least. The tpm figures are pretty much gone around here. Back to general lando, weequay, and nikto Jedi everywhere. No restock in months. I rarely check retail anymore - just preorder my cases and wait.

Dropped by a local Target on Sunday and saw 3 full sets of the Phantom Menace wave. Ridiculous...absolutely ridiculous. It's almost August now and that wave is still clogging the pegs 8 months later with none of the other waves to be seen.

I have not seen any new figures from the last 3 waves even once, only TPM wave. That is a major issue that Hasbro really needs to resolve.

Its maddening, because when all this TPM product was discussed, we all knew this was a massive mistake. You do wonder who makes these decisions. Its ironic that its TPM again! This has come at a time, where a mis-step like this is VERY damaging to the line.

Yes, this is really frustrating. All of us saw it coming.

When I saw that Hasbro had 18 new/remade figures, plus the other 6 DTF, the BPs, Class I, Naboo Fighter, Dewback and Vulture droid, I thought it was a nice line-up. However, I never imagined they'd do the numbers they did. I never thought they would carry forward so many TPM figures into the following waves. That's pure madness and should never have happened.

We can see the affects of this when we look at the 2013 line-up. However, the stores need to get through this TPM stuff first and I'm not sure if a $5 sale would really help at this point.

Is there anybody that would actually buy a to of those figures at $5 a piece?

If I could find them, I'd still be buying battle droids at full price. The rest of the wave? I wouldn't pick up more at five bucks. Parents would clear them out, though. Definitely.
