My sincerest apologizes for not posting the next meeting sooner. With the combination of our next baby due coming up August 3rd, current daddy duties, and work being busy I’ve not been able to do the simplest of things these days.
I know that this August is a busy one in the fandom. But without further delay the August meeting info:
When: August 11th (Saturday)
Time: 10:30 a.m. until ???
Where: Home Town Buffet, In Madison on 1745 Parkside Drive
Yep back in Madison. It’s always a fun trip there and seeing some of the folks from the Madison area. :-) Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the August meeting due to our baby being due so soon before the meeting. I’ll be missing Wizard World, and Celebration(again) :-( with this big event in life coming up for us. But none the less the show must go on. So I do hope that we can have a good turnout for the meeting. I do really hate missing it but look forward to hearing the recap of the meeting and hope everyone who can attended has great time.
So for me probably the next time I’ll be able to get back into the fanboy universe will be the October CHG meeting with all that’s going on.
Have a great time folks at the next CHG meeting and may the Force be with you. :-) Also if someone would be able to take pics and post them on the board I would really appreciate it. :-)

Crap, I can't make it. I'm out of town that weekend. Sorry I'll miss out on Fred's giveaways! I was SOOOO looking forward to them...
BTW, it's Wizard World in Chicago that same weekend, so I'm not sure if that will affect attendance... Stan Lee, ALL of the Star Trek Captains, and many more stars in attendance. Have fun everyone!

Heh. If it's any consolation, I'm missing out on my giveaways, too. I'm going to Wizard World, so... maybe that will improve Madison attendance, knowing that I won't be there.
275 bucks for the Stan Lee VIP? Worth it. For the ****? Worth it next year. Have to choose which person you think will be alive for the next event, the way things are going...
