I've had some Gentle Giant stuff for a while now, but I only just started collecting the mini-busts. As I mentioned in the main Gentle Giant section, I was never very attracted to busts, but suddenly I decided that I wanted to start collecting them. Part of it was the realization that they weren't as expensive as I had thought. I've been getting some good prices on ebay and from fellow scummers. And part of it was probably connected to my decision to focus pretty much exclusively on collectibles from the Original Trilogy. That's part of what attracted me to the busts, since you can get characters like Garindan or even Oola.

So anyway, not being one to do things by halves, I jumped in with both feet. With the exception of Ackbar, which I got during a sale a while back, all of these were purchased in the last month. Even the curio is new (to me); I got it for $75 on Craigslist. I have a few more busts on their way (orange pauldron Sandtrooper, Imperial Guard, Jedi Luke, Gamorrean Guard, Tie Fighter Pilot and Tarkin) and I still need to find a few more like Ben Kenobi, but I'm well on my way to getting all of the OT busts that I want.

Thanks guys. I almost forgot about my Chewbacca statue on the other side of the room. I keep him with my 1/6 scale figures since we're not going to see a Chewbacca in Sideshow's line for a long time, if ever.
