I just can't believe they've just made the same mistake twice. I am just so absolutely gutted for you

Between this and Forbidden Planet cancelling all pre-orders for the AT AT Driver bust, I'm thoroughly fed up. Anyone able to recommend an online source for MR/Sideshow/Gentle Giant stuff?

I use www.movingimagetoys.com for some purchases and they have been absolutely great.

I have spoken to Alex from Moving Image numerous times and he's always been really helpful. I have purchased a few MR Exclusives from them and I cannot praise them highly enough.

If you don't see what you want on the website give him a call and ask.

Yeah I've used them before, my problem is that I'm a compulsive buyer and they don't update their site often

You're joking. Sorry, but someone at Play is taking the mickey.

Sorry to have to say it, but i think that you may have to write this one off.

Might be worth just emailing Alex and asking him to email you when he gets new stuff from MR / Sideshow / GG. If you let him know Rob from Rebelscum pointed you in his direction I'm sure he'd be able to sort you out.

Totally agree Rodders, I was hoping they still were gonna have this one in stock when I came back from the US (was going to try my powers of persuasion on the Senate one more time) But looks like it's not going to happen given Plays' almighty mess up

It's just frustrating. I was looking forward to a fellow UK scummer getting what could be argued as the ultimate SW collectible and to see this happen is disappointing to say the least. Not only that, but i use play and was going to order a couple of Attakus Statues next month (Budgetary approval has been granted ). Now i'm not too sure whether to go with play, or use a more expensive but reliable source.

Los Gringos Loco, i really wish you the best of luck with your search.

Yeah it does suck, but I will say that in Play's defence they are good in sorting out problems. They'll be collecting this Falcon and refunding me next week, so I'll just get something else. I'm talking to a couple of people right now about getting the MR Snowspeeder or maybe a MR Fett blaster, so I'll settle for one, or both of those.

A MR V1 AT AT would be nice though.

To be honest I've never really had any issues with Play.

A couple of years ago they were doing FX sabers for £24.99 and I ordered quite a few with no issues, although some other Scummers received the wrong FX sabers.

I also pre-ordered the Luke V2 with no problems and also several other replicas and statues.

The only problem I've had was with a MR Stormtrooper CE helmet which was missing the stripes but as soon as I found out Play were as good as gold sorting it out for me.

I'm gutted for those that received the Code3 Millennium Falcon instead of the MR version because as you say Rodders this is the pinnacle of prop collecting (at least in my opinion) Had I had Senate budgetary approval I would have not hesitated pulling the trigger on this one.

I personally would have no issues ordering from Play but I always use my Barclaycard because if there is a mistake which Play can't resolve (which is extremely rare) then I've got back up in the Chargeback team @ Barclaycard, they are absolutely relentless on behalf of their card holders.

Los Gringos Loco, I hope you get your MF at some point, did you know that theres an AT-AT on eBay at the moment and also DarthWenger can supply the contact details for a dealer selling the Boba Fett blaster for £150

I would also like the Snowspeeder, I actually passed on one for £199 a little while ago and wished I'd bought it.
