I got my SWshop.com Senate Guard figure today. A pretty nice looking figure.
Also, if you are looking for a DVD to watch this weekend, get Stargate: Continuum. You don't need to be a fan to enjoy this movie.

So this guy I am shaking hands with at SDCC is named Ryder Windham and he has written over 50 SW books for DK and Del Ray. He is the author of one of my favorite books 'the SW Ultimate Visual Dictionary'.
Earlier this year, I was reading my Visual Dictionary book when I noticed the author's name 'Ryder'. I liked the name, pitched it to Tara, and now the name is on our son's birth certificate.
So at SDCC, I just happened to notice Ryder Windham was at the DK booth. I told him this story and he really seemed to enjoy hearing it. Meeting him wasn't remotely on my radar going into the Con, but it turned out to be one of the nicer moments...He gave me his email and said he wanted to see a few pictures of little Ryder. I sent a few to him today...
Slave I was so happy for me that he PMd me a REALLY nice picture. Unfortunately all the good parts were censored.
GF/60 WM had 1 case of the exclusive CW 501st clone trooper in the aisle and 3 cases on a pallet. I opened a case and took one. Slave_1, I shot you a text about it earlier. They also had 4-5 cases of Indy wave 3 and a ton of Clone Wars wave 1 revision cases. I also picked up a GIJOE Destro/IG comic pack with the gold head variant. There were 2 more. The black head ones from earlier in the week are gone.
Then I went to Stapley and CC/Baseline WM and they had put all their 501st figures on the pegs. Probably 4 cases worth at each store. I picked up the Durge wave comic packs at CC/Baseline and left 2 sets.
