Just got back from checking Wal-Mart and Target for Wave 3, but didn't see them. Wasn't really expecting to but looked anyways. Was hoping to at least get Ronin while I was out but didn't see him.

I would love to find some Wave 2.![]()

I'd still love to find some ANYTHING. Neither Target I hit today has peg-space for these.
Of course, when they DO, it'll just be piles of Torches, poorly-painted Spideys, & big-head Punnies.
Yeah, I'd say Human Torch is the biggest pegwarmer in my area. Every store I go to has at least 3-4 of him.
What's sad is that my local Walmarts and Targets are both *very* heavy with the W:O stuff. Targets have whole endcaps of Wolvie figures that are just not moving. Walmarts are so bad (or stupid) that they put the Wolvie stuff on the MU pegs, eliminating any chance of new MU figures.
It feels just like the Indy movie figures. Multiples of the major character (like Wolvie) and then only one copy of a side character (like Deadpool) per case. It's so unbalanced and it makes Wolvie, the star of the movie look unpopular because there is seemingly so many of him not selling. The packaging is always really rough and the tape on the backs are practically falling off.
Meanwhile, all the MU stuff sells out very fast. Go figure.
Sounds like here pretty much. The Wolverine line (and especially the animated one) aren't really moving at all, aside from Deadpool, Gambit, and Maverick (and even Gambit and Maverick have a tendency to sit for a while before selling). MU sells pretty quickly, except for a few characters. Torch pegwarms at every store, but the others differ from place to place.
How do you guys define pegwarming? If an item stayed on shelf for a week? A day? An hour?
Anyone that has Symbiote Spider-Man and can compare him to the Spider-Man of Wave 1 and maybe even post pictures of them, would be very appreciative.

An item I see constantly, like a Yarna Dal Garna, TDK basic figures, Bail Organa, etc.

Usually it's based on how long one particular figure stays on the pegs. For example, the same Human Torch figure has been sitting on the pegs at a local Target for at least two or three weeks - I can tell it's the same one because of the paint apps and there's a certain crease on the card. That timeframe to me means it's "pegwarming". I would also go so far as to say that Wave 1 Human Torch in general pegwarms, because I always see him at stores that carry the MU figures. I will usually see other figures around him sell, but the regular Torch just doesn't seem that popular.Originally Posted by tk421_1_2
I define it as pegwarming if it's been there for at least 2 weeks. Some of these Human Torch figures I've seen have been there longer than that. I know one in particular has been at a Wal-Mart for over 3 weeks. He's just not a good seller. The rest of the MU figs sell but he stays behind.
