Forum member Moff_tarkin sent this one in about a Holo Darth Sidious W/Mechno Chair figure that stands good chances of being made, here are 3 various comments by Hasbro in the weekly Q&A's from various sites:

1) Dear Hasbro, With the numerous problems and an anti-climactic release of the Sideshow Collectibles Darth Sidious version... What are the chances of seeing Hasbro create a 3 3/4 scale Holographic Darth Sidious on mechno chair in the near future? Regards Mike S

2) Rebelscum: You have recently said that a Darth Sidious with Mechno Chair may possibly be coming in the future, would such a toy be from The Phantom Menace, or the new Clone Wars tv series? Also would the Darth Sidious figure be a new sculpt, repack of the original holo Sidious, or simply a retool?

Hasbro: It would be from the Phantom Menace. Sidious would likely be all new.

3) SSG: Recently you said that there's a very, good chance of us getting Holographic Darth Sidious with Mechno-Chair. Would this have the actual removable chair part as well (the part we see Nute Gunray sitting in), or just the holo-projector part? If it had the chair part, would Nute come with this (seeing as there's no Nute figure that can sit in a chair),or would a Nute figure be offered later?

Hasbro: This would be an expensive figure for us, so it would probably just be the walking projector base and holo figure. We don't know if we would offer a Nute later, but once we had the chair it would be a good thing to look at, and certainly very cool. It would probably be too expensive for the basic figure line so it might make a better candiate for another venue like a Battle Pack.

So any thoughts on seeing A holographic Darth Sidious W/Mechno Chair figure? Who hasn't wanted at least one since TPM was released nearly 10 years ago?

Sidious has been the only holographic figure in which I've held any interest, seeing as he appeared in that form for the greater part of the movie. However, I lost interest in that figure after its price rose in 2000, and built my collection around the "flesh" Sidious - to me, that opportunity has passed. But the chair would be a great addition if there were a Neimoidian who could actually use it as a seat.

No interest in the Holo Sidious personally, but I'll probably buy a bunch of these for the chairs. I'd love a bunch in my planned Neimoidian-themed dio.

This is one of the few holographic figures I'd want. It would be great if they could work a light-up feature into it somehow, maybe as a light shining up from the chair.

Sweet - this is a great idea.

But the Sidious would be out of scale wouldn't it? (smaller I mean) So it would be very scene specific (ie. the figure couldn't double up as Holo Sidious from the Trade Federation ship at the beginning of the film)

Not that that's a bad thing - I always though the Mechno Chair was neat.

I would't mind seeing the mechno-chair. The TPM Holo-Sidious is, in my opinion, the best-looking holo figure they've ever done.
