I was thinking more like the classsic 4 pack style. some customs are better than others (i do a fair bit myself) but official ones would be welcomes with open arms

FYI the POTF2 version of EV-9D9 is a completely new mold. It is not a recast/retooled iteration of the vintage figure

I heard a rumor that we could actually be getting reproduced original Kenner 3.75" scale figures (like the 1995 4-pack) as part of the 40th line. Possible exclusive to someplace like Toys R Us.

Just Rumor, but Hasbro did say that the 40th line would be going all year. And we still have SDCC for some reveals. This would also co-inside with what someone from Toys R Us said a while back about "The old figures are coming back"

How cool would that be, I hope they do something like that. It would be even better if Hasbro picked up where Kenner left off and made some figures that Kenner never did, like Tarkin.

Star Wars Galaxy Magazine included an article that talked all about the process of retooling the old vehicles:

I had that issue, I remember staring at that spread of the 'new' figures for days on end.
