Maybe AFA applied the stickers
My RS Feedback
I've seen a few U grade ships from AFA. Sealed boxes opened, and they apply stickers...
What about when the 30+ year old decals start falling off? Or is AFA adding glue?
LOL crazy, I guess as long as the glue has been uncirculated it would be ok. AFA applying stickers makes a bit of a mockery of the whole U grade concept IMO.
You can request which way you want it graded, with the sheet of stickers shown or the stickers applied.

Ridiculous. That should NOT have a 'U' grade....
I would assume it went like this:
Customer sent MISB item to AFA
AFA removed item with at request of customer
AFA graded item with stickers attached at request of customer
AFA encased item at request of customer
AFA returned newly graded item to customer
Customer more than likely happy with item
Honestly,it makes me wonder why people panic about such things. After 10 years or more of grading, some people ask silly questions. This is someone elses property, and as far as im concerned he could have opened it and given it to a kid to play with. The buck stops with the owner yes,i was the biggest critic of AFA and some of their practices, but ive learnt to live with it.Unless its your item, then dont worry. This item was never used, and is no different that an AFA U graded figure. If the tape seal wasnt broken, its unused-end of discussion.Mnay people think its 'ridiculous' that these toys are graded anyway,so questions will always be asked. Also, how do we know the toy's box wasnt damaged? There are many things can can happen.
Not trying to be a smart ***-just a realist.

Also have a liking for TPM line
U = Uncirculated/Unopened... so if it's been handled and stickers applied it should NOT be a 'U'. There is no arguing this one, it's RIDICULOUS.
