Help with Boba Fett (Saga Legends)

    Hi,
    Recently picked-up a loose VOTC-type Fett.
The seller indicated it was the TAC Saga Legends release.

One thing I noticed is the lack of Mandolorian decals on the shoulder-pads. I can't find any reference to this anywhere - is it a known variant? Pics below:

It's not mentioned in the archive, but weren't some original VOTC Fetts reported to be missing the skull?

Re: Help with Boba Fett (Saga Legends)

I did some checking, and apparently some VOTC Fetts were missing 1 bantha skull on the left shoulder.

However, this version has no emblems on either shoulder.

I stumbled across this article on potf2.com showing that some pre-release samples of the 2007 SL Fett were missing the shoulder and chest emblems, and also had the peg-holes in the feet were the same too-shallow type as on the original VOTC Fett.

My example also has the shallow peg-holes and copyright info, as shown in this pic:

The only difference between mine, and what is shown in the potf2.com article, is that mine DOES have the chest emblem.

So I guess it's a pre-release sample of the SL Fett then?
