Thread: What are you reading now? V.3

  1. #871
Just finished Zahn's Vision of the Future.
Thought it was ok. I mean the last fourth of it or so got really good, but overall I felt it kinda dragged.
I think the whole concept of bringing back Thrawn with a con-man was an idea, but I think after a while he couldn't really flesh it out properly.
Some of the stuff on the planet where the "secret" was, ended up being really long and many times just boring.
I don't know, it just felt forced a lot of times.

Now starting The Truce at Bakura.
    Hope this pans out better.

Any suggestions what to read after that?
Looking for post ROTJ stuff that still involves the original heroes (at least for now).

Finished up Phasma (which I'd give an 8/10), and am about halfway through Leia: Princess of Alderaan.

Claudia Gray can do no wrong IMO. Absolutely outstanding book so far.

About to finish Thrawn tonight. I am enioying it so far but sometimes have to power through Pryce's narrative because I am not interested in her character.

I am going to have to reread Zahn's "Legends" trilogy to see how he wrote Thrawn originally.

I started reading the Hand of Thrawn Duology but it really wasn't holding my interest at all. So I moved on to Book One of the Bounty Hunter Wars. I'm about half way through, pretty good so far.
