Well, a man can't waste time when chasing his dreams...

I've always toyed with the idea of building a 1:1 scale mockup of an X-Wing cockpit (something true
to scale so a guy can sit in it with the hood closed, but small enough to be toted around on, say, a
small car trailer).

Anyway, does anyone know of any reference books, or, dare-I-hope, BLUEPRINTS, of the 1:1 X-Wing
plans from which I can work? Yeah, I can get my micrometer out, and scale up the dozens of X-Wing
models Ive got, but maybe someone knows of my holy-grail, and can point me to my 'hidden-plans'.

Also, Im interested in any print-form references to the details of the inner cockpit. Lights, buttons,
flight-stick, etc. Of course Im thinking of lighting the whole sha-bang up. And building two canopy
hoods, one with glass, one without, so I can green-screen some homemade shots (think ROTJ
deleted-scenes recreation without audio sounding like it was recorded in a bathtub.)

Anyway, with 1:1 X-wings which have made the celebrations circuit, I know this goal has been
achieved, but I want my own little piece of SW immersion.

Please reply with pointers to ref mtl if you know of it, and I welcome all advice at this formative
stage of my project.
