With the news that Belgian balloonist Benoît Lambert has constructed a Darth Vader balloon (http://www.darthvaderballoon.be/en/index.html), fans in Europe are wondering if it will be making an appearance at Celebration Europe this summer. According to starwars.com (http://www.starwars.com/community/event/celebration/news20070417b.html) "If the planets align, the Darth Vader balloon will be a major presence at an upcoming fan convention." My fingers and toes are crossed!

They've got a massive Campus area outide reserved for CE, so it would be cool for the baloon to be there

If that makes it to CE then that would be fantastic. They could launch and land it if it's fixed to guide ropes, and they may even make a ride of it as I'd imagen you'd get some great views from that area. I'm heading to ExCel soon so might see just how much room they have outisde, which could determine if it's possible.

There's a joke in here somewhere about people taking rides on a giant inflatable helmet.
