Like the fact they all come with stands!

They seem to have given Rey new legs that are a wider stance from the original.

Era of the Force. Not quite my tempo. Missed opportunities!

So are they passing of episode 3 Yoda as esb Yoda??

I miss stands

Still try to avoid 5poa whenever possible, but have to admit that Maul and Windu look pretty good.

Obi-Wan on the other hand seriously needs a shave.

Why? Who asked for these?

Because of the stands, they can only afford to give one lightsaber to each character as their only other accessory. They couldn't even bother to give Rey her pistol.

Someone seems to be missing for this to be an era thing, like ANAKIN.

Obviously this is meant as one of those "get them all" type of sets, to appeal to gift givers. But it does seem a bit odd line up. I could see the use if they did just use leftover figures, but that sad thing is they wasted resources to make all new figures.

Endor Luke I can understand from the upcoming Emperor Throne Room set to avoid a bit of overkill, but PT Yoda is. This further emphasizes the need for an OT Yoda, so missed opportunity. ("Hee-hee, lightsaber not make me great.") :D

nice looking figures but not terribly interested

Why do you ask? It just looks like prequel Yoda. Even has the lightsaber.

Anakin is definitely there (from a certain point of view). :awesome:

Anakin should have bumped out Vader since we've got him with the Probe Droid. Or maybe the Probe Droid should have had a 5POA Hoth Han Solo. IDK, it's hard to stay attached to the 5POA with endless repeats out of simultaneous issues. :(

If this is supposed to be 1-8, who's representing episode 5, ESB? If not Yoda then ESB doesn't have a representative character....

saw this set yesterday at Target in Milltown NJ... they had about 20 of them on the shelf.

This set is just a step above the Disney cake-topper Star Wars multipacks that they sell in the Disney stores.

PASS.

And they will continue to have twenty of them for a long time.

Is there anything new in this set? Looks like old Saga Legends figures.

so no force link gimmick...I suppose that's reasonable as these as repacks again. However, for repacks couldn't the stand have a specific characters force link chip instead. Seems that's how they should've handled the upcoming r1 repacks/retools figs (jyn, baze and what's-his-name). Heck even Island Rey they could've just put the chip in the poncho , repainted fig correctly and save the tooling costs for a real new fig

Man, if this were 8 villains it would be perfect - Kylo Ren, Snoke, Sidious, Dooku, Vader, Maul, Royal Guard and Praetorian Guard...

That would be kind of cool. Maybe have a heroes set as well. Obi Wan, Anakin, Yoda,Han Solo, Leia, Padme,Rey, and Luke

It's obviously intended as a gift set and not something for collectors. That said, it looks great for a kid starting up a new collection or for a Toys for Tots situation.

For kids starting out this is a great set. 8 figures for $40 is hard to beat. That's how multi-packs should be priced.

The box art is well made. I bought two sets one to open and use for parts and the other for saving. Aside from the stands, another good thing is that the Kylo head is a perfect match for the BS figure .

Who keeps voting to release that Luke Endor???? It is the epitome of HORRIBLE 5 POA. Sheesh!

Vorax

One good thing about it though, it actually comes with an accurate ROTJ lightsaber(a few of the 5poa have come with it), not sure why Hasbro keeps giving the inaccurate recolored obi lightsaber to every fully articulated Luke, its damn annoying.

Yes, for some reason this Maul figure shows up in multipacks, but has yet to receive a basic carded release. It was originally planned for the Legends line years ago, but never made it out in the US that I am aware of - I believe some showed up in Canada maybe. The new Maul / Qui-gon set will probably knock this Maul out when it comes to superior sculpts though, so I'm no longer worried about tracking one down.

Endor Luke was definitely a mistake. Although I believe the previous pack had Jedi Luke so no sense in trotting that one out. Bespin Luke is a decent one but we had him in TFA line. Me, I'd opt for X-wing Luke...with repainted hair. The 5poa legends X-wing Luke is actually a really solid figure for those who never got him. The problem is they made him a redhead for some reason. His face sculpt is actually one of the better ANH Luke sculpts. They even got his chin mole.

It'd make this set more interesting. Right now the best part about the set is that Darth maul figure.

Despite all the heavy criticisms, this is actually a really good set for kids/beginner collectors.

Single card Maul was also released here in the UK - for a while, he was quite plentiful.
